Henrietta, New York – The Town of Henrietta has moved forward with a new equipment purchase aimed at supporting the work of its Buildings and Grounds Department. On July 2, 2025, the Henrietta Town Board unanimously approved a resolution authorizing the use of $6,950.00 from the Equipment Capital Reserve Fund to purchase a Danuser Mega Mixer – S75.

The equipment will be used to assist with ongoing town maintenance and operations. The Danuser Mega Mixer is a versatile and heavy-duty attachment designed to mix and transport materials such as concrete, feed, and other aggregates, making it a valuable tool for municipal work.

“The Henrietta Town Board authorized purchasing a Danuser Mega Mixer – S75 for the Buildings and Grounds Department for a total cost of $6,950.00 with funds from the Equipment Capital Reserve Fund.”

The resolution and full details of the expenditure are currently available at the Henrietta Town Clerk’s Office. Residents who are interested in learning more about the transaction or viewing the resolution can visit the Clerk’s Office during normal business hours.

Importantly, this resolution is subject to a permissive referendum. This means that any residents wishing to challenge the decision must submit a petition within 30 days of the resolution’s adoption. If no such petition is filed, the purchase will proceed as planned.

The permissive referendum process gives the community a chance to voice concerns or objections regarding the use of reserve funds. It is a key part of maintaining transparency and public involvement in local government spending.

As of now, no petition has been filed. If the 30-day window passes without action, the town will move forward with the equipment purchase to enhance the capabilities of its public works team.
