Businesses across the nine-county region are invited to apply for the Greater Rochester Chamber’s 2025 Top 100 Awards and celebrate their growth

Rochester, New York – The countdown is on for one of the most anticipated business recognitions in the region, as the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce opens applications for its 39th annual Top 100 Awards. This signature awards program shines a spotlight on the fastest-growing privately owned companies across the nine-county Greater Rochester region—and businesses still have time to apply before the deadline on Friday, June 20, 2025.

Designed to honor companies of all sizes that are making an impact through innovation and strong performance, the Top 100 Awards are more than just a list—they are a celebration of growth, grit, and entrepreneurship.

“Celebrate your growth,” the Chamber encourages, calling on local leaders and founders to seize this moment and gain well-earned recognition.

Presented in collaboration with KPMG LLP and ESL Federal Credit Union, the awards represent a long-standing tradition in the Rochester area, where business success is built on a foundation of creativity, hard work, and community support.

What sets this recognition apart is its fair and data-driven approach. Companies are ranked based on their revenue growth over the past three fiscal years, with both percentage and actual dollar increases considered. This model allows smaller companies to compete alongside large firms, creating a level playing field. KPMG LLP, the program’s accounting partner, handles all data with strict confidentiality.

Large manufacturers, small tech startups, local retailers, service providers—every privately owned business that’s thriving in the Greater Rochester region is encouraged to apply. The only requirements are that the company is headquartered in the nine-county area and has shown growth during the evaluation period.

The application fee is $100, but Chamber members enjoy a waived fee as a member-exclusive benefit. Businesses can complete the application online, but they must act fast, as the window closes sharply at the end of the day on June 20.

For companies that make the Top 100 list, the benefits go far beyond the rankings. Winners are provided with valuable promotional opportunities, enhanced visibility, and bragging rights that extend well beyond the Greater Rochester area. In August, a list of all Top 100 honorees will be announced in alphabetical order, and the final rankings will be revealed at the Top 100 Awards ceremony.

That ceremony, scheduled for Thursday, November 6, 2025, has earned a reputation as one of the biggest and most exciting business events of the year in upstate New York. With more than 1,800 attendees, the night is filled with energy, celebration, and networking among some of the region’s most influential business minds. It’s a chance for teams to celebrate their hard work, for founders to share their stories, and for the entire community to cheer on Rochester’s continued growth.
