New York State Police investigate fatal three-vehicle crash that claimed two lives on Rochester’s Inner Loop

Rochester, New York – A deadly overnight crash involving three vehicles has prompted an extensive investigation by the New York State Police after two people lost their lives on the Inner Loop in Rochester.

The collision happened at approximately 1:50 a.m. on the eastbound side of the Inner Loop near Joseph Avenue in Monroe County. Emergency crews from the New York State Police quickly responded to the scene, where officers from the Uniform Force and members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation began examining the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Authorities confirmed that two people died as a result of the collision. Officials have not yet released the identities of the victims, and no additional details about the other individuals or vehicles involved have been made public.

Specialists from the New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit are also assisting with the investigation. Their work includes documenting the crash scene, gathering evidence, and determining the sequence of events that led to the fatal incident.
