Penfield prepares for its 33rd annual charity golf tournament happening on June 16 at Shadow Lake Golf Club

Penfield, New York – Local golf enthusiasts, community members, and supporters of charitable causes are once again preparing to tee off for a great cause. The Town of Penfield, in partnership with the Penfield Rotary and Penfield-Perinton Kiwanis, is proud to present the 33rd Annual Penfield Charity Golf Tournament, scheduled for Monday, June 16, at the scenic Shadow Lake Golf Club.
This long-standing event has become a summer tradition in Penfield, bringing together residents and businesses for a day of fun, friendly competition, and most importantly—giving back to the community. The day kicks off with lunch at 10:30 a.m., followed by an 11:30 a.m. shotgun start to launch the tournament. As the day winds down, participants and guests will gather for dinner at approximately 5:30 p.m., a time to relax and reflect on the good being done through the event’s proceeds.
Adding a special touch to this year’s tournament, Tom Dambra of Family First Credit Union will serve as the honorary chair. His involvement brings additional recognition and energy to an already impactful event.
“Proceeds from the event will benefit community organizations.”
While golfers are the main attraction, the tournament welcomes everyone to join in. Those who prefer not to hit the greens can still support the cause by purchasing a dinner-only ticket, making it an inclusive event for all who wish to contribute to the charitable mission.
Registration is now officially open, and organizers are also calling on local businesses and individuals to consider sponsorship opportunities. With a range of ways to participate, the event offers something for everyone who wants to make a positive difference locally.
To register or learn more about sponsorships, visit penfieldperintonkiwanis.org/golf-tournament or call (585) 340-8660.
“All registrations and sponsorships must be received by Monday, June 2,” so interested parties are encouraged to act quickly.
Whether swinging a club or simply joining for dinner, this is one event where fun and philanthropy come together—and all for the betterment of the Penfield community.
