Henrietta, New York – Local residents are being reminded that the final deadline to pay the 4th installment of the 2025 Combined Town and County Tax Bill is just around the corner. Wednesday, April 30th marks the last day to make a payment before further interest or penalties are applied.

According to town officials, this deadline is important for anyone who still has a balance due. “Wednesday, April 30th is the 4th installment deadline on the 2025 Combined Town and County Tax Bill and the last day to make a payment with 4.5% interest,” the official notice states.

For those who still need to pay, there are several convenient options available. The Town Clerk’s Office is open weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will be accepting in-person payments during those hours. If you’re planning to drop off your payment instead, don’t worry — there’s a drop box available, and any payments placed in it before 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 1st will still be counted as on time.

Residents mailing in their payments should take extra care to ensure their envelope is postmarked by April 30th. The town has made it clear that only official USPS postmarks will be honored — not postage meter marks — so it’s a good idea to double-check at the post office before sending it off.

There’s also the option to pay online, which may be the most convenient route for many. As long as the payment is submitted before midnight on April 30th, it will be accepted without additional interest. However, it’s important to note that a small convenience fee does apply for online transactions. Payments can be made at www.monroecounty.gov.

More detailed information and a full breakdown of payment options can be found on the town’s official website at www.henrietta.org/taxes.

With the clock ticking, town officials encourage residents not to delay. Missing the deadline could result in additional costs, so acting now is the best way to avoid future headaches.
