Homeowners in Webster can get leaf mulch for their gardens by picking it up or ordering a delivery

Webster, New York – The Town of Webster is once again offering leaf mulch compost for residents, with pick-up and delivery options currently available at the Orchard Road site. The location, situated on the north side of Charles E. Sexton Memorial Park near Holt Road, has been restocked and is ready for those looking to spruce up their gardens this spring.
While mulch is available, the town has announced that wood chips are currently out of stock. Officials noted that updates will be shared if and when wood chips become available again. “We are currently out of wood chips but will provide an update if and when wood chips become available again,” the town confirmed.
Residents who have already placed orders for mulch delivery can expect those deliveries to continue as scheduled. For others interested in receiving mulch at home, the process is straightforward. Simply complete the order form and submit it along with payment to the Highway Department. Forms can be returned either in person or by mail.
The Highway Department is open Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Deliveries are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, so residents are encouraged to act quickly as materials are only available while supplies last.
This seasonal program is a popular service in the Webster community, particularly for those getting an early start on yard work or garden preparation. The mulch, made from composted leaves, provides a sustainable and cost-effective option for homeowners to improve soil health and appearance.
Residents are encouraged to check the Town of Webster’s official website and social media channels for the latest updates regarding availability and other related announcements. Whether picking up mulch at the park or waiting for a delivery, locals can take advantage of this resource to get a jumpstart on their landscaping goals.
