Mailed payments will also be considered timely as long as they bear a U.S. postmark dated February 28th. However, residents should be aware that postage meter marks are not accepted as proof of timely mailing.
For added convenience, an online payment option is available through the county’s website at www.monroecounty.gov. Taxpayers can make their payments electronically without accruing additional interest, provided the transaction is completed before midnight on February 28th. However, online payments do carry an additional convenience fee.
