U-Haul box truck crashes into two unoccupied State Police vehicles during late-night investigation on Route 17 in Woodbury
Woodbury, New York – Two New York State Police vehicles were struck by a U-Haul box truck late Tuesday night while troopers were conducting an investigation along State Route 17 in the Town of Woodbury, authorities said.
The crash happened at approximately 11:22 p.m. on September 8, 2026, on the westbound side of the highway near Exit 130A.
