Henrietta, New York – Henrietta residents are being reminded that Tuesday, February 10th is the final day to pay the 2026 Combined Town and County Tax Bill without incurring any interest. Officials are urging taxpayers to act promptly to avoid late fees, offering several convenient options for making payments.

“The Town Clerk’s Office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday,” authorities noted, emphasizing that in-person payments can still be completed before the close of business. For those who prefer to drop off payments, the town offers a secure drop box. Payments placed in the drop box before 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 11th will be accepted as on-time.

Mailing in tax payments is also an option. Residents should ensure their payments are postmarked by February 10th to avoid interest charges. “We honor US Postmarks (not postage meter marks) of February 10th if mailing in a payment,” the notice clarified. This gives those who prefer using the postal service some flexibility while ensuring compliance with the deadline.

For those who want to skip the trip to the town office, online payment remains an option. Residents can pay through the Monroe County website at www.monroecounty.gov. Online payments are accepted without interest until midnight on February 10th, though an additional convenience fee applies.

Officials stressed that planning ahead is essential to avoid last-minute rushes, especially as the deadline falls on a weekday. Paying on time not only prevents extra charges but also ensures the town and county continue to fund local services and maintain infrastructure.
