Webster, New York – The Town of Webster is making it easier for residents to meet with assessment staff and review their property information ahead of the 2027 Townwide Revaluation. The Webster Assessment Office announced it will be offering extended evening hours this fall, giving property owners more flexibility to check exemptions, apply for eligible discounts, and ensure their property data is up to date.

For three nights this fall — one each in October, November, and December — the Assessment Office will stay open late at Webster Town Hall, located at 1000 Ridge Road. The special evening sessions are scheduled for Tuesday, October 14, Monday, November 17, and Wednesday, December 10, each running from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

These extended hours are designed to make the process more convenient for homeowners who may not be able to visit during the regular weekday schedule of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It’s also an opportunity for residents to meet directly with staff, ask questions about their assessments, and prepare early for the upcoming revaluation process.

“One night per month in October, November, and December, the Webster Assessment Office will stay open late. Join us to check your exemptions, apply for eligible discounts you’re not currently receiving, and review your property data with Assessment staff members,” the office said in its announcement.

Town officials encourage residents to take advantage of these sessions to verify that they are receiving all exemptions for which they qualify — such as those for veterans, seniors, or people with disabilities. Ensuring assessment data is accurate now can help prevent issues or misunderstandings later when the new property values are established for 2027.

The 2027 Revaluation Project aims to ensure fair and equitable property assessments across the town. Additional details, including a full project schedule, frequently asked questions, and related resources, can be found on the town’s official website at websterny.gov/874/2027-Townwide-Revaluation-Project.

Residents are welcome to visit Town Hall during normal business hours or take advantage of the new evening opportunities this fall. The Assessment Office hopes these sessions will make the process easier and help every property owner feel informed and prepared.
