Webster Assessment Office extends fall 2025 hours to help residents review property data and apply for discounts

Webster, New York – The Webster Assessment Office is opening its doors a little longer this fall to make things easier for residents who can’t make it in during the regular workday. Beginning in October, the office will introduce a series of extended evening hours, giving property owners more flexibility to handle important assessment-related matters before the year ends.
Town officials confirmed that the Assessment Office, located at Webster Town Hall, 1000 Ridge Road, will remain open late once a month in October, November, and December. These extra hours will allow residents to stop by after work to check their property exemptions, confirm eligibility for discounts, and review their property data directly with members of the Assessment staff.
The office shared the upcoming schedule for these special evenings: Tuesday, October 14, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.; Monday, November 17, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.; and Wednesday, December 10, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Staff members said they hope these additional hours will make it easier for residents to stay informed and prepared ahead of the town’s 2027 Revaluation Project. The revaluation process aims to ensure that all property assessments reflect fair and accurate market values across the town, and community engagement plays a key role in achieving that goal.
“Join us to check your exemptions, apply for eligible discounts you’re not currently receiving, and review your property data with Assessment staff members,” the office announced.
In addition to the extended sessions, residents can still visit the Assessment Office during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Town officials encourage property owners to take advantage of these opportunities to address any questions or concerns before the new valuation period begins.
More details about the 2027 Townwide Revaluation Project, including the full schedule, frequently asked questions, and helpful resources, are available on the town’s official website: websterny.gov/874/2027-Townwide-Revaluation-Project.
As Webster heads into the fall season, the Assessment Office’s initiative serves as a reminder of the town’s ongoing commitment to transparency, accessibility, and community support.
