County Executive Adam Bello announces discounted greens fees at Genesee Valley Churchville and Durand Eastman golf courses for the entire fall season

Monroe County, New York – County golf enthusiasts have something new to smile about this fall. Monroe County Executive Adam Bello has unveiled a round of reduced greens fees at two of the region’s most popular public golf spots, Genesee Valley and Churchville. The price cuts are in place now and will last through the remainder of the fall golf season.

This announcement comes on the heels of already lowered fall rates at Durand Eastman Golf Course, which kicked in the week of September 22. The changes mean all three county-operated golf courses are now offering discounted rounds, giving both casual players and seasoned golfers more reason to head outdoors before the first snow blankets the fairways.

“With the fall season just beginning, I encourage golfers to take advantage of the reduced greens fees at our beautiful county golf courses,” said County Executive Bello. “It’s the best golf deal in the area — take advantage of the cool weather, enjoy our upgraded golf cart paths, and get your last rounds in before winter arrives.”

The updated fee schedule covers both walking and riding rounds. At Durand Eastman, the North Course at Genesee Valley, and the East Course at Churchville, golfers can walk nine holes for $10 or ride for $17. An 18-hole walk is set at $13, while riding costs $27. Meanwhile, the South Course at Genesee Valley and the West Course at Churchville feature slightly lower pricing, with nine holes walking for $8 or riding for $15, and 18 holes walking for $11 or riding for $25.

For longtime players, the reductions are a welcome sign of county investment in local recreation.
