Rochester, New York – Rochester’s favorite outdoor food and music celebration is back this week as the City of Rochester’s Food Truck Rodeo series continues on Wednesday, July 30, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Rochester Public Market. This round of the monthly event will feature the crowd-pleasing jazz and swing stylings of Cool Club & The Lipker Sisters, promising a night full of rhythm, flavor, and fun.

Known for their infectious energy and genre-blending performances, Cool Club & The Lipker Sisters are expected to deliver a mix of beloved standards and original songs. With tight harmonies and a sound that moves fluidly through jazz, R&B, Latin beats, and rock and roll, the group has built a reputation for lighting up any stage they play on.

“Cool Club & The Lipker Sisters are known to bring the swing, blending intricate harmonies with the sophistication of jazz and the soul of R&B, mixed with a touch of Latin flair and rock and roll,” organizers shared. “Attendees can expect a mix of classic favorites and infectious originals.”

The Food Truck Rodeo series has become a summer staple in Rochester, drawing thousands of people each month to the historic Public Market at 280 N. Union Street. Visitors enjoy not just the music but a massive selection of eats and treats, with dozens of food trucks offering everything from international cuisine to creative takes on local favorites. Alongside the meals, local beverages and sweet desserts round out the evening for food lovers of every taste.

Live music is a major highlight of each Rodeo, with a rotating lineup of talent showcasing the best of Rochester and the surrounding region. This year’s series features artists from a wide range of genres including blues, soul, funk, gospel, and rock—a playlist built for dancing, grooving, or just relaxing under the evening sky.

The Food Truck Rodeos take place on the last Wednesday of each month through September, making Wednesday’s event the third installment in the 2025 season. Following this week’s show, attendees can mark their calendars for two more live music nights:

• August 27 featuring Junk Yard Field Trip
• September 24 with Steve Grills and the Roadmasters

While the event is free and open to all, parking can be tight near the Market. Organizers recommend carpooling, biking, using public transportation, or walking whenever possible. Bringing a folding chair is also a smart idea, as seating on the Market grounds is limited and the crowds can be large.
