The 2025 Public Market Food Truck Rodeo series will begin this Wednesday with live music by the Royal Bromleys

Rochester, New York – Rochester’s favorite outdoor tradition is back for another lively season. The City of Rochester’s Public Market Food Truck Rodeo series will officially kick off on Wednesday, April 30, with a special performance by the Royal Bromleys. The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m. at the City of Rochester Public Market, located at 280 N. Union Street.
Every year, thousands gather at the Food Truck Rodeos to enjoy a wide variety of tasty dishes, desserts, and drinks, all served up by dozens of local food trucks. With menus packed full of Rochester’s best flavors and plenty of new creations to try, food lovers and music fans alike are in for a real treat.
Adding to the excitement, live music will once again be a big part of the scene. This year’s lineup is packed with talent, featuring local and regional acts ready to fill the market with blues, soul, funk, gospel, and rock sounds. It all begins with Wednesday’s headliners, the Royal Bromleys, who are set to bring high-energy tunes to kick off the season.
After the opening night, the music will keep rolling throughout the summer. The schedule for the rest of the series looks like this:
• May 28: Earthtones
• June 25: Folk Faces
• July 30: Cool Club & The Lipker Sisters
• August 27: Junk Yard Field Trip
• September 24: Steve Grills and the Roadmasters
The Rodeos happen on the last Wednesday of each month, from April through September. Whether you’re a first-timer or a longtime fan, it’s a can’t-miss evening of good eats, great music, and community spirit.

Parking near the Market tends to fill up fast, so organizers are urging visitors to think ahead. “Nearby parking is limited, so attendees are encouraged to carpool, bike, use transit, or walk to the event.” To stay comfortable while enjoying the festivities, bringing along a folding chair is highly recommended, since seating is limited on the grounds.
The City of Rochester Food Truck Rodeos are made possible through the support of the City itself, Rohrbach Brewing Company, and the Market District Business Association. For anyone looking for more information about the events, the City has set up a dedicated page at www.cityofrochester.gov/foodtruckrodeo. For the latest updates and sneak peeks, fans can also follow the Public Market on Instagram and Facebook (@CityofRochesterPublicMarket).
As the temperatures rise and the days grow longer, the Food Truck Rodeo series promises to be the perfect way to enjoy warm evenings with family, friends, food, and music right in the heart of Rochester.
