Roc’n Ritmo makes a highly anticipated return to downtown with an exciting new date and legendary music lineup

Rochester, New York – Rochester is gearing up for a night of vibrant rhythms and electrifying energy as Roc’n Ritmo makes its much-anticipated return to downtown. This annual celebration of Latin music and culture will take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 5 to 11 p.m. at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park, located at 353 Court St. This year, the event boasts a thrilling lineup, headlined by the legendary Puerto Rican music group, Caña Brava.
Known for their signature mix of merengue and bachata, Caña Brava has performed at some of the world’s most iconic venues, including Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall. Their high-energy performances and infectious rhythms promise to bring the crowd to their feet. Adding to the excitement, Franco “El Matatan” will return as the evening’s host, ensuring an unforgettable experience for attendees.

“I listened to some Caña Brava and I can say that it does not disappoint,” said Mayor Malik D. Evans. “This music is festive and it will make you move.”
Beyond the electrifying headline performance, Roc’n Ritmo will showcase a diverse lineup of local entertainment, highlighting Rochester’s rich Hispanic heritage. Attendees can also explore a variety of food vendors offering authentic Latin cuisine, along with interactive activities designed to engage all ages.

Roc’n Ritmo is a signature event presented by the City of Rochester’s Hispanic Heritage Committee, dedicated to celebrating Latin culture through music, dance, and community engagement.
