Rochester Lilac Festival announces exciting 127th edition headliners

Rochester, New York – The much-anticipated 127th annual Rochester Lilac Festival is set to bloom once again, bringing with it a spectacular lineup of musical performances. From May 9-18, 2025, the historic Highland Park will be buzzing with energy as an array of nationally and internationally recognized artists take the KeyBank Center Stage.
Each year, the festival showcases a diverse selection of musical talent, and 2025 is no exception. Festival-goers can expect an eclectic mix of genres, from soul and indie pop to jazz, Afrobeat, and country. The headliners include artists hailing from across the U.S. and beyond, making this year’s event an unmissable experience for music lovers of all tastes.
A Star-Studded Lineup
The festival kicks off on Friday, May 9, with the smooth and uplifting sounds of Sir Woman, an Austin-based R&B, soul, and indie pop group known for their groovy, feel-good vibes. Fans of Lake Street Dive and Vulfpeck will find themselves right at home with this dynamic ensemble.
On Saturday, May 10, Nashville’s own Katie Pruitt will take the stage. With a voice that blends soul, folk, and singer-songwriter influences, Pruitt has won over fans of John Mayer and Brandi Carlile with her heartfelt storytelling and soaring vocals.

Country fans are in for a treat on Sunday, May 11, as Chayce Beckham, the “American Idol” winner, delivers a raw, powerful performance. With a sound reminiscent of Chris Stapleton and Ella Langley, Beckham’s authenticity and emotional depth will surely leave a mark on the audience.
Swifties will have a reason to celebrate on Monday, May 12, when Cruel Summer, a Taylor Swift tribute band, brings the pop sensation’s biggest hits to life in an electrifying show.
Tuesday, May 13, introduces the vibrant and energetic Vibrant Beats: Rochester’s Latin Music Experience, featuring a stellar lineup including AFriKan2, Orchestra Antonetti, 5 Con Swing, and Bachata Rebelde. Expect salsa, Latin fusion, and an infectious rhythm that will keep the crowd dancing all night.
One of Rochester’s most beloved party bands, The Skycoasters with Shine, will take the stage on Wednesday, May 14. Their electrifying mix of rock, pop, funk, and swing has made them a household name, and their performance promises to be a high-energy spectacle.
On Thursday, May 15, festival-goers will be transported to the heart of Lagos, Nigeria, with Seun Kuti & Egypt 80. The son of the legendary Fela Kuti carries forward the powerful tradition of Afrobeat, blending political messages with pulsating rhythms and funk-infused grooves.
Friday, May 16, welcomes The Aces, an alternative pop and indie rock group from Provo, Utah. Known for their hit “Daydream,” which has amassed over 35 million streams, their sound is often compared to HAIM and The 1975.
New Orleans jazz takes center stage on Saturday, May 17, with the legendary Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Their signature blend of jazz, bebop, and funk has earned them a global reputation, and fans of Trombone Shorty will find their performance particularly exciting.
The festival wraps up on Sunday, May 18, with Beach Weather, a pop rock and indie pop sensation from Phoenix, AZ. With more than a billion streams on their latest hit, this band is the perfect grand finale for fans of Arctic Monkeys, Harry Styles, and Tame Impala.

Music is just one part of what makes the Rochester Lilac Festival such a treasured event. Beyond the world-class performances, visitors will enjoy over 120 additional musical acts, a sprawling arts and crafts marketplace, a local farmers’ market, and a variety of family-friendly activities.
